    Even though The possible symptoms of pancreatic cancer are the same regardless of the fact that men are more likely to be diagnosed with pancreatic cancer than women.

    Stage 0: In this stage, the cancer can identified by the existence of abnormal cells in the pancreatic lining.
    Stage 1: The tumour is present in the pancreas.
    Stage 2: The tumour is present in the pancreas and may have spread to the nearby tissues, organs or lymph nodes..
    Stage 3: Near the pancreas, the cancer would have spread to major blood vessels. The surrounding lymph nodes may have also been affected.
    Stage 4: In this stage, the cancer cells would have spread to distant parts or the body and other organs near the pancreas.

    Pancreatic cancer is usually diagnosed at the later stages after it has metastasized, that is, after it has spread to other parts of the body. This is because the symptoms of pancreatic cancer don’t become severe until its too late.

    Patients who have been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, may have to regularly undergo treatments such as chemotherapy, radiation or other forms of therapy because it might not completely go away.
